Scene 2

Scene 2 is taking shape. The trees are made from paper mache balloons (the long ones) with newspaper wrapped around them. I have gaffa taped them to the bottom of the box. They were then coated with more paper mache to make them stronger.

2nd stage has been the flour and water glue to give texture to them.

This (when dry) will be painted.

I'm also in the process of working on her doggy companion. It got so far before i decided that it wasn't working.

I have now stripped it back to the wire and added the padding once more. I will post more pics later. Sam had his annual trim so I have actual dog hair to use on the model - should be interesting! XX

Second Scene

First scene is now completely finished.

I seem to have a better idea of the logistics of the whole project and I realise just how much work i have ahead of me.

Have began work on the second scene where she finds herself in a woodland. The woodland is also a representation of Malkuth as in the meditations that i have done there are two different scenarios - one the temple with the chequered floor and the second the woodland.

She has a new costume to reflect the correspondances of this sephiroth and she also aquires a new friend - a white dog (will explain later).

In the second scene she has to chose between 3 pathways - Hod, Netzach and Yesod. I have done my best to try and include imagery from the tarot cards that relate to each of these paths - Judgement, The Moon and The World.

Currently I am at the stage of making paper mache balloons. I will post pictures as and when possible.
